A Place to Grow Stronger in Your Faith

"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work" (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15).

Sunday School (9:45 AM)

Mixed Adult Class: We are studying R.C. Sproul's "Luther and the Reformation". Centuries after his death, Martin Luther is celebrated as an intellectual giant, a brave opponent of corruption, a shaper of culture, indeed as one of the most significant figures in Western history. Many people, however, are unaware of the events of Luther's life that led him to make a courageous stand for the gospel in the sixteenth century. In this series, R.C. Sproul provides a thorough introduction to the life and thought of Martin Luther. With an eye to the lessons we can learn today, Dr. Sproul traces the major events of Luther's life and explores the gospel recovered by Luther and the other Protestant Reformers. This class meets in the choir room.

Home Fellowship Groups

1st and 3rd Sunday Evenings of Every Month

One of the great ways to grow in our understanding of God's unmerited favor is to attend a home fellowship group.  A home fellowship is an intentional gathering of 6 to 12 people who come together on a regular basis for prayer, Bible study, discussion, and connection with one another.

The emphasis of our small group ministry at West End is fellowship.  God's Word calls us to live out our faith in Community (Genesis 2:18).  Moreover, we are called to love one another (Hebrews 10:24-25) and to bear one another's burdens (Galations 6:2).

At West End our desire is to develop a body of believers who live out the great commandment in their daily lives.  Our home fellowship groups are designed to help all of us do relationships better.  As other see our love for one another and for Jesus, we trust that God will use our witness to bring them into His kingdom of grace.

If you're interested in attending a small group, call the church office (458-6765), and we'll help you find a group that meets near your home!

Wednesday Night Discipleship (6:45 PM)

Eddie Reed leads a study of the book of Hebrews and an extended time of prayer. This class meets in the choir room.
